Size Guide

Our jackets come in standard sizes or can be made to your own measurements. Men's and women's styles use different charts: men's sizes run XS to 4XL and are based on your chest measurement (36 to 52 inches), and women's sizes run XXS to 5XL and are based on your chest measurement (30 to 48 inches). If you are between sizes, or want a perfect fit, choose made to measure on the product page.

Measure your body over a thin top and compare it with the chart for your style. Go by the Your chest column for men and the Fits your chest column for women.

Men's size chart

Choose your size by the Your chest column, which is your body measurement. The other columns are measurements of the finished jacket, which is useful if you want to compare with a jacket you already own. UK/EU sizes are one size up from US sizes, so a US Medium is a UK/EU Large.

  • Jacket chest and jacket waist are measured around the finished jacket, so they are larger than your body to leave room to move.
  • Back length runs from the base of the collar at the back down to the hem.
  • Sleeve runs from the top of the shoulder down to the end of the cuff.
  • If your chest is right on the line between two sizes, take the larger size if you like to layer, or the smaller one for a closer fit.

Women's size chart

All sizes are true to measurement. Choose your size by the Fits your chest column, which is your body measurement. Jacket bust, shoulder and sleeve are measurements of the finished jacket. UK/EU sizes are one size up from US sizes, so a US Medium is a UK/EU Large.

  • Jacket bust is the full round measurement of the jacket across the chest, from front to back.
  • Shoulder runs from one shoulder tip to the other.
  • Sleeve runs from the shoulder tip to the end of the cuff.
  • For sizes above 5XL, or for a custom fit, choose made to measure or email us.

How to measure

Wear a thin top, stand relaxed and ask someone to help if you can. Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight.

  • Chest (men): around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms and across your shoulder blades.
  • Bust (women): around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape straight across your back.
  • Waist: around your natural waist, the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your belly button.
  • Hips: around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
  • Sleeve: from the top of your shoulder, down the outside of your arm, over the elbow, to your wrist bone.
  • Shoulders: across your back, from the edge of one shoulder bone to the other.
  • Jacket length: from the base of your collar at the back of your neck down to where you want the jacket to end.

Choosing your size

  • If you plan to wear a thick sweater or hoodie underneath, choose one size up.
  • Women's styles are cut with a shaped waist. If you prefer a looser, boyfriend-style fit, choose one size up.
  • Leather relaxes a little as it breaks in, so a new jacket should feel snug but not tight.
  • Fitted styles such as cafe racers and biker jackets are cut close to the body. Bombers, coats and work jackets have more room.

Choose Made to measure in the size options on the product page. A short form opens where you enter your chest, waist, hips, shoulder width, sleeve length and jacket length before you add the jacket to your cart. If anything looks unusual, we'll contact you before we start. Made-to-measure jackets ship within 3–7 business days, then express delivery takes 3–5 business days in the US and 5–8 business days to other countries. More about made to measure.
