Made To Measure

Most White Buraq styles can be made to your own measurements for $30 more than the standard size, so your jacket fits you rather than a standard size chart.

How it works

  1. Choose your style. On the product page, pick the jacket you like and select the made-to-measure size option.
  2. Enter your measurements. When you select the made-to-measure option, a short form opens on the product page. Fill in your chest, waist, hips, shoulder width, sleeve length and jacket length before you add the jacket to your cart. The guide below shows how to take each one. If anything looks unusual, we'll contact you before we start.
  3. We make it by hand. Your jacket is handmade in our family workshop in Sialkot, Pakistan and ships within 3–7 business days.
  4. We ship it to you. It travels by express courier, which usually takes 3–5 business days in the US and 5–8 business days to other countries. Shipping is free within the US, and we pay any US import duties. We also ship worldwide for a flat $35 (see our shipping policy for international duties).

How to measure yourself

Give us your body measurements, not the measurements of a jacket you own. Our pattern makers add the right amount of ease for the style and fit you choose. All you need is a soft tape measure and about five minutes. Wear a thin T-shirt, stand straight and relaxed, and measure in inches or centimeters (you can pick either on the form).

1. Chest

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms and across your shoulder blades. Keep it level and snug, not tight, and breathe normally.

2. Waist

Measure around your natural waist, the narrowest point above your belly button. Don't hold your breath in.

3. Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips and seat.

4. Shoulders

Across your back, measure from the tip of one shoulder bone to the other, following the curve. Ask someone to help with this one.

5. Sleeve length

Start at the tip of your shoulder and measure down the outside of your arm to your wrist bone, with your arm relaxed at your side.

6. Jacket length

Measure down your back from the base of your neck to where you want the jacket to end. A classic biker usually ends at the top of your hips.

Also helpful: your height and weight, and whether you want a slim, regular or relaxed fit. If you plan to wear a hoodie or thick sweater underneath, mention it in the notes box.

Not sure you got it right? Email a photo of the tape on your body to info@whiteburaq.com and we'll check it before we start cutting. If anything looks unusual, we'll contact you first.

Good to know: made-to-measure jackets are cut just for you, so they are final sale and can't be returned or exchanged. Standard sizes in our regular leathers can be returned within 30 days of delivery, unworn with tags attached. See our return policy.

Free design consultation

Have an idea but no sketch? Send us a photo, a screenshot or a few words describing what you want. Our designer will draw a digital sketch of your jacket at no charge, and we'll adjust it with you before anything is cut.

  1. Send your idea to info@whiteburaq.com: photos, screenshots, logos or a short description.
  2. Get your sketch. We send a digital drawing with leather, color, lining and hardware options and a clear price.
  3. Request changes at no extra charge.
  4. Approve and order. We start making your jacket by hand.

Custom designs

Want something that isn't in our store, such as a different color, lining, hardware, embroidery or your own design? Use our custom jacket builder to design it and see your price as you go, or email info@whiteburaq.com with photos or a sketch. We'll confirm the price and timeline before we start. Fully custom designs are made to order in 1–2 weeks, then shipping takes about 1 week. Custom designs are final sale.

Exotic leathers

We can also make pieces in genuine python and crocodile leather, sourced with CITES documentation. Genuine exotic jackets are made to order in 3–4 weeks, then shipping takes about 1 week, and they are final sale. Python products cannot be shipped to California.
