After researching the industry, we discovered that the high retail prices of leather outerwear were driven by long supply chains, middlemen, wholesale markups, and expensive marketing campaigns. The actual cost of the materials, craftsmanship, and quality control was only a small fraction of what consumers were paying.
We believed this problem was fixable—and that consumers like us deserved better. So, we started White Buraq LLC to provide an alternative: genuine, high-quality leather jackets at accessible prices.
