White Buraq is an online store for handmade leather jackets, coats and vests. The store is owned and run by White Buraq LLC, a family business based in Duluth, Georgia, and we sell directly to customers across the United States and around the world through this website.

Our story

Our family opened a small leather workshop in 1998. It began by making wrestling belts, jackets and bags, and over the years it grew to making leather jackets, coats and vests. We started White Buraq so that customers in the US could buy jackets from that same workshop directly, from the people who actually make them.

Where and how your jacket is made

We run White Buraq from Duluth, Georgia. Our jackets are made in our family's workshop in Pakistan, where our craftsmen cut, stitch and finish each piece by hand. We fit YKK zips and check every jacket by hand before it is packed. You can see each step on our how your jacket is made page.

Popular styles are kept in stock in Georgia. Everything else, including made-to-measure orders, is made to order in our workshop and shipped straight to you.

What we sell

We sell men's and women's leather jackets, including biker, cafe racer, bomber and flight, trucker and shearling styles, as well as leather coats, blazers and vests.

  • Genuine leather only. We work with cowhide, lambskin, sheepskin, goatskin, horsehide, steerhide, buffalo, suede and nubuck. We don't sell faux or bonded leather. Read about our leather types.
  • Your size. Every style comes in sizes XS to 4XL, and most can be made to your measurements. See our size guide.

What you can expect when you order

  • Clear prices. Prices are in US dollars. Shipping within the US is free, and we pay any US import duties and customs fees, so there is nothing extra to pay on delivery. We also ship worldwide for a flat $35; for Europe, import duties and taxes are paid on delivery. Any sales tax is shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Honest delivery times. All orders, including in-stock and made-to-order styles, ship within 3–7 business days. Express delivery (DHL or FedEx) then takes 3–5 business days in the US, and international orders arrive 5–8 business days after dispatch. We email you a tracking number when your order ships.   • 30-day returns. You can return unused items in their original packaging, with all tags attached, within 30 days of delivery. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, we cover the return shipping. See our refund policy.
  • Secure checkout. Our store runs on Shopify, and every page is protected by an SSL-encrypted connection. We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay, and we never see or store your full card details. See our payment policy.
  • Real people to talk to. Questions about sizing, leather or an order go to our own team, and we reply to emails within 24 hours on business days.
