Custom Bridal Leather Jackets: A Guide for Brides
A custom bridal leather jacket, usually with "Mrs." and your new last name on the back, has become a favorite for getting-ready photos, cool-weather ceremonies, the send-off and the honeymoon. It keeps you warm, looks great in photos, and you'll keep wearing it long after the wedding. Here's everything to know before you order one.

Wording ideas

Keep it short so the lettering can be large and easy to read in photos. Check the spelling carefully, including capital letters and punctuation, because your text is made exactly as you send it.
Choosing the color
Our bridal jackets come in black, red, burgundy, navy, green, gray, beige, brown and dark brown. Black is the classic choice and looks striking against a white dress. Burgundy and red are beautiful for fall and winter weddings, and beige or gray feel soft and romantic.
Getting the size right
The jacket has a fitted cut and follows our women's sizes, from XS (US 0–2) to 4XL (US 26). Zips on the sleeves open to widen the arm, which helps over fuller sleeves.
- If you'll wear it over a dress with structured or puffed sleeves, or over a thick layer, go one size up.
- For a perfect fit, choose Customise Size (made to measure) and send us your measurements.

How to order and when
- Choose your jacket, color and size, then place your order.
- Email info@whiteburaq.com with your order number, your text, font, thread color (for embroidery), whether you'd like the floral design, and your measurements if you chose made to measure.
- We make your jacket by hand and ship it within 3–7 business days, then express delivery takes 3–5 business days in the US.
We suggest ordering at least four weeks before the wedding so there's plenty of time for delivery and a try-on. Shipping is free within the US, and we pay any US import duties. We also ship worldwide for a flat $35 (see our shipping policy for international duties).
Caring for your bridal jacket
- Hang it on a wide, padded hanger, and avoid folding it across the lettering.
- Spot clean the leather with a soft, barely damp cloth, keeping moisture off the text or embroidery.
- Don't iron it or use household cleaners.
- Condition the leather a few times a year, avoiding the text. See our leather care guide.
